Description
Mid-season ripening variety, obtained at the Kokinsky Experimental Station of VSTISP through open pollination. Breeders: I.V. Kazakov, F.F. Sazonov. Under state variety testing since 2006.
Medium-height, weakly spreading, medium-density bush. Woody stems are medium, straight, gray-brown, glabrous, shiny.
Three-lobed leaf, medium size, dark green, leaf blade wrinkled, matte, glabrous. Lobes are pointed, with small notches, angle between veins of side lobes is straight. Base is convex. Teeth are short, blunt, not curled.
Flowers are medium, pale, sepals medium, curved upward, glabrous. Inflorescence is very long (10-12 cm, 12-14 berries), dense, stem medium, curved, glabrous.
Berries are large (average weight 1.3 g, maximum 3.9 g), round, black, shiny, with average seed content, dry detachment, transportable. Petiole is medium, light green, thin. Taste is sour-sweet, refreshing. Berries are of universal use. Chemical composition: dry solids — 12.3%, total sugars — 3.8%, titratable acidity — 2.8%, ascorbic acid — 168.0 mg/100 g.
Winter-hardy, self-fertile, resistant to major diseases and pests, yield up to 12.0 t/ha (2.9 kg/plant).
Advantages of the variety: high productivity, large fruit size, dry berry detachment and uniform ripening.
Disadvantages of the variety: insufficient resistance to bud mite.
