PRAGUE GIANT

Prague Giant is a mid-early variety of root celery, characterized by a vegetation period of 120 to 130 days from germination to technical maturity. The root crops of this variety are large, round in shape, and weigh from 300 to 500 grams. The flesh is white, dense, tender, and juicy, possessing a strong spicy aroma and a pleasant taste. Due to its high vitamin content, this celery is a healthy and nutritious product.

The Prague Giant variety is suitable for both industrial cultivation and suburban farms. It prefers loose fertile soils and requires abundant watering to form juicy and tasty root crops. The plant tolerates short-term frosts down to -4 °C and dry periods well, although prolonged heat with a lack of moisture can lead to fruit cracking and deterioration of their taste qualities.
