The root mass reaches approximately 811 grams, and the sugar content in the root is about 16.8%, ensuring a high sugar harvest of 119.4 centners per hectare, which exceeds standard sugar harvests by 14.2 centners per hectare. The VTS 495 hybrid demonstrates high resistance to major sugar beet diseases, including cercospora, aphanomyces, fusarium, and powdery mildew. It is especially recommended for fields infested with sugar beet nematode (Heterodera schachtii) or expected to develop this pest. During field trials in growing regions such as the Stavropol Krai, the hybrid showed low cercospora infection and high tolerance to leaf diseases. Due to its adaptability, VTS 495 is suitable for cultivation in various climatic conditions, making it a versatile choice for sugar beet growers.
