This hybrid is intended for cultivation in open ground and is suitable both for the fresh market and for processing. Plants reach a height of about 215-220 cm, differ in sturdy foliage and a well-developed root system, which ensures their resistance to unfavorable conditions, including heat and drought. The fruits of the hybrid have a cylindrical shape with a cob length of 22-23 cm and a diameter of more than 5 cm. Grains are arranged in 18-20 rows, have a bright yellow color, a smooth and shiny surface. A feature of the variety is the long-term preservation of sugar in the grains, which prevents their transition to starch, thanks to which the crop maintains freshness, juiciness, and sweetness for a long time. The mass of a conditioned ear reaches about 350 g, and the yield of pure conditioned ears is approximately 1.3 kg per square meter. The GIA hybrid is excellent for culinary use and preparing various preserves, thanks to its superior taste qualities of boiled products.
