Sage VOZNESSENSKIY 24

Voznesensky 24: A Professional-Grade Sage Variety

The 'Voznesensky 24' sage is a result of meticulous breeding by the V.S. Pustovoit All-Russian Research Institute of Oil Crops (VNIIMK). Designed to bridge the gap between industrial pharmaceutical raw materials and ornamental horticulture, this variety stands out for its high biological uniformity. Unlike wild-type sage or non-selected varieties, Voznesensky 24 provides the consistency required by modern processing facilities.

Why Growers Choose Voznesensky 24

• Pharmaceutical Consistency: The variety offers a standardized profile of essential oils and flavonoids, ensuring that every harvest meets the strict requirements of the medicinal market.
• Ornamental Appeal: With its distinctive grey-green foliage, it serves a dual purpose as both a high-value industrial crop and an attractive landscape plant for gardens and public spaces.
• Agronomic Predictability: The variety is known for its even growth stages, which optimizes the schedule for harvesting and facilitates mechanized field operations.

Operational Strengths and Positioning

Voznesensky 24 is best suited for agricultural enterprises that prioritize yield quality and reliability. In the competitive market of medicinal crops, its stability makes it a lower-risk choice compared to unverified hybrids. While it requires adherence to proper cultivation practices to maintain its varietal purity, the return on investment—in terms of market-ready quality and visual appeal—is significantly higher than that of generic analogs. For growers who supply both the herbal extract industry and the landscaping trade, this variety offers a unique commercial flexibility that few other cultivars can match.
