LG Austin

LG Austin is a medium-early winter rapeseed hybrid with N-Flex technology, developed to optimize plant nutrition and efficient nitrogen utilization. Thanks to this technology, nitrogen absorption from the soil is improved and evenly distributed throughout the plant, promoting high productivity under both intensive and extensive cultivation conditions, as well as on soils with uneven nitrogen supply. The hybrid features early-mid flowering, high cold resistance, and drought tolerance, making it a reliable choice for various climatic zones, including the Polissia and forest-steppe regions.

LG Austin exhibits high resistance to major rapeseed diseases such as phoma, sclerotinia, and cylindrical sporidiomycosis, as well as lodging and pod cracking. The hybrid demonstrates increased tolerance to damage from rapeseed flea beetle larvae in the autumn, reducing the need for growth regulators. It does not tend to elongate the growth point and shows excellent winter hardiness and resistance to spring frosts. The recommended seeding rate is 350-450 thousand plants per hectare, which ensures a potential yield of up to 70 c/ha.

This rapeseed hybrid has low glucosinolate content (less than 15 mmol/g) and high oil content, enhancing its economic value. LG Austin is suitable for early and mid-late sowing dates, ensuring stable autumn development and high resistance to adverse weather conditions.
