Molodezhna 40 is milk thistle in tablet form, intended for the protection of the liver and bile ducts from various injuries. The main active ingredient is silymarin, which belongs to the group of flavonoid lignans. It possesses antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, detoxifying, and regenerative properties, stabilizing lipid structures of liver cell membranes and promoting their recovery.
Tablets are used both for preventive and therapeutic purposes. When taken at 2 tablets two to three times a day 30 minutes before meals, the course lasts from 8 to 12 weeks. Milk thistle is indicated for hepatitis (acute, chronic, viral), liver cirrhosis, cholecystitis, gallstones, pancreatitis, diabetes mellitus, and various intoxications – alcoholic, medicinal, and heavy metals. In addition, the drug helps with atonic colitis, digestive disorders, as well as in cases of eczema and atopic dermatitis.
