Winter rapeseed variety "OO" type — early-maturing, plastic variety, suitable for use in various agroclimatic zones — has high resistance to diseases — low glucosinolate content — thousand seed weight is 4.88 grams — the variety has very high frost resistance — "Jesper" consistently belongs to the group of the most productive varieties in Ukraine — its high yield competes with a number of hybrids — the variety is characterized by high cold resistance — the plant is low-growing and requires less water — has high lodging resistance — better utilizes assimilates — accelerates harvest, reduces losses — the variety has relatively low sensitivity to pesticides — responds well to intensive cultivation technology — in western regions of Ukraine, the "Jesper" variety has yielded 5.0-5.5 t/ha over the last two years, in the Central region — 5.0-6.0 t/ha, on the south and east — 4.0-4.5 t/ha.
