Parallax is a domestic winter rapeseed hybrid developed at the Institute of Oilseed Crops in Ukraine. It was created based on the cytoplasmic male sterility (CMS) system and has undergone state variety testing, confirming its high agronomic performance. The hybrid is distinguished by increased yield and high oil content, making it promising for food use and industrial processing.
During selection, scientists developed and patented laboratory methods for assessing plant cold resistance, ensuring Parallax’s resilience to adverse climatic conditions. This trait is especially important for cultivation in Ukraine, where winters can be harsh. Thanks to these characteristics, Parallax is suitable for widespread use in agriculture as an oilseed crop, providing a stable and high-quality harvest.
Rapeseed Parallax is an important raw material for producing vegetable oil and other food products. Its use contributes to the development of the agro-industrial complex and meets the needs of both food and industrial sectors. Thus, this hybrid represents a modern solution for efficient and sustainable rapeseed cultivation in Ukraine.
