PT271 is a winter rape of medium maturity, belonging to the type of conventional tall hybrids. Plant height reaches 165-170 cm, ensuring good productivity. The hybrid is characterized by intensive development in the autumn period and medium-late emergence in spring. To prevent excessive growth and reduce winter hardiness when sown early, growth regulators are recommended. The optimal seeding rate is 45-50 seeds per square meter, and for late sowing — 50-55 seeds per square meter. PT271 is adapted for cultivation in the forest-steppe, Polissia, and steppe zones.

The hybrid has high winter hardiness (rating 8 out of 10) and good drought resistance (7 out of 10), enabling successful cultivation under various climatic conditions. Additionally, PT271 shows high resistance to fusarium infection due to the presence of the Rlm 7 gene, and it is resistant to lodging (7 out of 10). Oil content in the seeds is 8 out of 10, making this rape attractive for oilseed industry.
