OREDEZH 7 is a type 00 spring rape (Brassica napus var. napus) variety characterized by the absence of erucic acid and low glucosinolate content, making it safe for food and feed use. The plants are medium to tall, standing 84 to 119 cm high, with glaucous-green leaves that are hairless and waxy-free. The leaf area index is about 54%, and the mass of 1000 seeds ranges from 3.4 to 4.7 g. The variety is resistant to lodging and seed shattering, which helps preserve the yield and facilitates harvesting.

The vegetative period when grown for seeds ranges from 93 to 99 days, and from 39 to 51 days when used for green feed. Flowering time is average, allowing the variety to adapt to various climatic conditions. OREDEZH 7 is recommended for cultivation in various regions, including the Northwestern, Volga-Vyatsk, West Siberian, and Far Eastern regions, as well as in the Leningrad and Sverdlovsk regions and the Chuvash Republic.

Seed yield of the variety is high, reaching 24.3-35 c/ha, exceeding standard indicators by 9-12%. Fat content in seeds is 42.2-47.3%, and protein is 20-24%, making the variety valuable for both the food industry and animal feeding. Additionally, OREDEZH 7 can be used as a nectar plant and a cover crop, as well as for obtaining green mass for livestock feed, expanding its application in agriculture.
