Description SIBIRYAK 60
Sibiryak 60 is a spring rape (Brassica napus var. napus) type 00 variety, characterized by the absence of erucic acid and low glucosinolate content, ensuring high quality of the obtained oil and meal. The variety was created by multiple individually-family selection from the Avangard variety and is intended for cultivation in various regions of Russia, including the Volga-Vyatka, Middle Volga, Ural, Western Siberia, and Eastern Siberia. The plants have an average height from 87 to 119 cm and a phenological period from 90 to 117 days depending on the region, with early-mid flowering time.

Sibiryak 60 is distinguished by high seed yield, which varies from 10 to 26 centners per hectare in different regions, while potential yield can reach 31 c/ha. Oil content ranges from 42.9% to 52%, making the variety attractive for oilseed crop production. Additionally, protein content in seeds is about 22%, further enhancing the value of the raw material for processing.

The variety has drought resistance at a level of 3.0-4.8 points and good resistance to diseases and pests, contributing to a stable harvest under various climatic conditions. Due to its characteristics, Sibiryak 60 outperforms standard varieties in yield and oil quality, making it a profitable choice for agrarians focused on producing high-quality rape oil and seeds.
