ES Artist is a medium-early hybrid of winter rapeseed (Brassica napus var. napus) type 00, characterized by the absence of erucic acid and low glucosinolate content. The vegetation period is approximately 272 days, with a period from sowing to flowering of about 121-122 days. Plants are tall, reaching heights from 130 to 167 cm, with active branching and medium-length pods. The hybrid exhibits good winter hardiness, resistance to lodging and seed shattering, ensuring stable yields under various climatic conditions, including the Central Chernozem region, steppe, and forest-steppe. ES Artist has high productivity, averaging 24.5 c/ha, and under favorable conditions can exceed 47 c/ha and even reach up to 65 c/ha. The 1000-seed mass is approximately 4.7 g, indicating large seed size and high quality. Oil content in seeds ranges from 46.5% to 50%, making this hybrid attractive for oilseed production with high oil yield. Glucosinolate levels are within 14-16 mMol, and erucic acid content does not exceed 0.2%, meeting the quality standards for type 00 rapeseed. The hybrid ES Artist is recommended for seed cultivation with an optimal sowing density of about 500,000 seeds per hectare. Plants have green leaves with medium leaf margin serration and medium leaflet density. Due to high disease resistance and good winter hardiness, this hybrid ensures reliable and stable yields across various climatic zones of the country. Active branching and high resistance to lodging contribute to effective yield formation and minimize losses during harvest.
