ES Mercure

ES Mercury is a mid-late winter rapeseed hybrid of French origin, designed for high and stable yields. The hybrid's vegetation period is approximately 123 days to flowering, and plant height reaches 155 cm. The hybrid is characterized by very rapid early development and excellent branching ability, which contributes to forming a strong and productive plant mass. The recommended seeding rate is 430-450 thousand seeds per hectare, which is optimal for achieving maximum yield.

ES Mercury is distinguished by high winter hardiness and good resistance to lodging, ensuring the preservation of crops under challenging climatic conditions. The hybrid also exhibits high resistance to common rapeseed diseases, reducing the risk of yield loss and minimizing the need for intensive plant protection. Due to these qualities, ES Mercury is suitable for cultivation in various agroclimatic zones, including steppes, forest-steppe, and lowland areas.

The oil content in the hybrid's seeds is 47-48%, with glucosinolate levels not exceeding 22 mMol, and erucic acid content less than 0.2%, meeting high standards for oilseed crops. ES Mercury is recommended for regions with sufficient moisture levels, where it demonstrates stable and high yield performance. An example of successful cultivation is the yield in the Kyiv region, reaching 52.5 centners per hectare, confirming the hybrid's potential for commercial oilseed production.
