CONTRA KL

CONTRA KL is a hybrid spring rapeseed variety of the new generation, developed for the Clearfield® system. It belongs to the 00-type, meaning it lacks erucic acid and has low glucosinolate content, making its produce higher quality and more in demand. The medium-maturity hybrid is distinguished by high lodging resistance and good disease tolerance, ensuring crop stability even under complex agro-climatic conditions. Plant height reaches about 101 cm, and the mass of 1000 seeds is approximately 4.1 g.

The CONTRA KL hybrid is characterized by high yield and oil content, confirmed by variety trial results and practical application. Average yield in the Central region reaches 15.6 c/ha, and oil content in seeds is 45.5%. The genetically high oil content combined with good compensatory ability and intensive plant development ensures high oil output per hectare. A compact pod package and the hybrid's versatility make it convenient for growing under various conditions.

A feature of CONTRA KL is its high plasticity and ability for intensive development, which promotes effective control of weed vegetation in fields. The hybrid is distinguished by simultaneous flowering and uniform ripening, which facilitates the implementation of agrotechnical measures and harvesting. Thanks to these qualities, CONTRA KL occupies a worthy place among hybrid rapeseed varieties intended for cultivation in the Central and Central-Black Earth regions.
