Claro CL — this is a winter rapeseed hybrid selected by KWS, designed for Clearfield technology, with a high yield potential up to 60 ц/ha. It is characterized by rapid autumn development, ensuring good crop formation, as well as high drought and winter hardiness, making it a reliable choice for various climatic conditions. Plants have medium to high height and intensive branching, which contributes to stable crop formation and high oil content in seeds. The hybrid exhibits increased resistance to pod cracking and seed shattering, reducing losses during harvest.
Claro CL is recommended for cultivation in the Polissia, Forest-Steppe, and Steppe regions of Ukraine, where it demonstrates excellent adaptation and productivity. The recommended seeding rate is 400–500 thousand plants per hectare, which is optimal for achieving maximum yield. The hybrid is also resistant to lodging and possesses high resistance to major rapeseed diseases such as phoma and sclerotinia, further enhancing its reliability in agronomic terms.
Moreover, Claro CL is suitable for both winter and spring cultivation, expanding its application in crop rotation systems. Rapid growth during early development stages and early maturity (up to 100 days) allow efficient use of agronomic resources and ensure stable yields under various conditions. High resistance to imidazolinone herbicides ensures convenient weed control, reducing agrochemical costs and improving production ecological safety.
