German breeding house NPZ Lembke has introduced a Clearfield-segment solution focused on maximizing yield potential while maintaining strict weed control. Cebra CL is a simple linear rapeseed hybrid whose architecture is optimized for modern intensive cultivation technologies.

Morphological features and development

A plant height of 90-100 cm provides an optimal ratio between vegetative mass and generative organs. The plant's key engineering feature is its high branching capacity. This is not merely a visual characteristic, but a mechanism for forming a wide canopy for pod setting. Such a structure enables the efficient use of photosynthetically active radiation in the lower tier, minimizing losses from shading and ensuring uniform maturation.

Phytosanitary reliability

The genetic profile of Cebra CL is reinforced by resistance to the most aggressive pathogens. Including resistance to downy mildew and bacteriosis in the variety's protection program reduces the load on the fungicide application block, which is critical under high humidity and infection pressure.
