Wheat variety RGT REFORM is a mid-late winter wheat with high yield potential, reaching 8 to 13 tons per hectare under intensive cultivation. This variety is characterized by strong compensatory ability, high winter hardiness, and tolerance to various sowing dates, making it suitable for cultivation in well-watered regions such as Central, Northern, and Western Ukraine. Plants have a height of about 88 cm, seed mass per 1000 seeds is 42 g, and it belongs to the group of high-quality grain varieties.
One of the key features of RGT REFORM is its high resistance to diseases, including Fusarium, Septoria, brown rust, and powdery mildew, as well as high resistance to lodging, significantly reducing harvest losses. Disease tolerance and agronomic characteristics make this variety one of the most popular winter wheat varieties among foreign selections in Ukraine since 2017.
Recommended sowing rates depend on sowing dates: for early sowing — 3.0–3.5 million seeds per hectare, for optimal — 3.5–3.8 million, for late — 3.8–4.2 million. In terms of plant count, this equates to 220–400 plants per square meter. The variety performs best under moderate to intensive nutrition, ensuring stable and high yields under favorable climatic conditions.
