RGT CAPITOLL — an early-maturing, high-oleic sunflower hybrid developed by RAGT Semences Ukraine for conventional cultivation. This hybrid is characterized by high oleic acid content (86-90%), ensuring high-quality oil. Oil content in seeds ranges from 50 to 54%, making it attractive for high-oleic oil production. Plants have compact sizes and are below average height, facilitating agronomic operations and reducing lodging risk.

The hybrid exhibits high lodging resistance (rating 8 out of 10) and tolerance to major diseases, including Phomopsis, Phomoid, rust, white mold, and downy mildew, with resistance ratings from 7 to 8. Additionally, RGT CAPITOLL shows resistance to race A-E of downy mildew, significantly reducing yield loss risks. Initial growth rate is rated at 8, and drought tolerance at 7, making it suitable for areas with adequate moisture.

Recommended planting density for adequately moist zones is 60-65 thousand plants per hectare, and for moderately moist zones — 55-60 thousand per hectare.
