Description P64LE185
Pioneer Sunflower P64LE185 is a mid-early simple linoleic hybrid developed for ExpressSun herbicide protection technology. This hybrid features high oil content and is designed for effective cultivation in areas with widespread ragweed, providing maximum control over 7 ragweed biotypes (A-G + System II). Plant height is medium, which facilitates agronomic practices and resilience to adverse conditions.

The hybrid exhibits high resistance to major sunflower diseases, including phomopsis, white mold of head and stem, verticillium wilt, leaf wilting, and downy mildew, significantly reducing the risk of yield losses. For protection against rust and sclerotinia, fungicides are recommended. The maximum single application rate of Express 75 herbicide is 50 grams, ensuring effective weed suppression without harming the crop.

Cultivation recommendations include optimal seeding density: 50-55 thousand plants per hectare under adequate moisture and 45-50 thousand under moisture stress. The hybrid demonstrates good yield potential even under drought conditions, making it a reliable choice for farmers aiming to achieve a stable and high-quality sunflower crop with high oil content.
