LG50621

Sunflower seeds LG50621 are a medium-maturing hybrid developed by Limagrain and intended for cultivation in southern and eastern regions of Ukraine. Plants of this hybrid are medium-height, reaching an average height of about 173 cm, and the head diameter is approximately 16 cm. The average weight of 1000 seeds is 61 grams. The hybrid belongs to the linoleic type and is characterized by high oil yield, making it attractive for oil production.

One of the key advantages of LG50621 is its high resistance to various diseases and pests. The hybrid shows high tolerance to Sclerotinia, including more aggressive strains (A-G / OR-X), and is resistant to false powdery mildew (MGP). In addition, it demonstrates resistance to diseases such as Phomopsis, mold of the head, black mold, dry rot, and Fomosis. These traits ensure reliability and stable yields even under adverse agroclimatic conditions.

The cultivation technology for this hybrid is conventional, with a recommended seeding rate of 45 to 55 thousand plants per hectare, depending on soil moisture level. Under insufficient moisture, the seeding rate is 45–50 thousand/ha, and under adequate moisture — up to 55 thousand/ha. LG50621 fits well into crop rotation and is recommended for use in farms where drought and disease resistance are crucial. The hybrid's yield potential reaches 3.8–4.3 tons per hectare, making it a profitable choice for farmers seeking high productivity and product quality.
