Hybrid sunflower LG 50514 is a medium-early crop rotation variety developed for stable yields under various climatic conditions. Plants reach a height of 155 to 165 cm, providing strong stems and protection against lodging. The thousand-seed weight is approximately 65 grams, indicating high seed quality.
One of the key features of LG 50514 is its high resistance to major sunflower diseases, including phomopsis, phomosis, white mold of heads and roots, dry rot, and charcoal rot. Additionally, the hybrid is resistant to sunflower downy mildew races A-G, as well as new races of false powdery mildew, significantly reducing the risk of yield losses.
Hybrid LG 50514 features high oil content and is adapted for cultivation in various climatic zones of Ukraine. It is suitable for crop rotation and is produced by Limagrain in bagged units of 150,000 seeds, which is convenient for large-scale agricultural production.
