AS Rapid

AS Rapid sunflower is a medium-early, high-yielding hybrid developed by Ukrainian breeders of the company Ukragroelit. It is characterized by resistance to sulfonylurea herbicides, particularly to 50 grams of the herbicide Granstar and its analogs, allowing effective control of a wide range of weeds when applied at the recommended rate. The hybrid is also tolerant to the herbicide Express, expanding the protection options for crops. Seeds are supplied in branded paper bags of 150,000 units each, sufficient for sowing on 2.2–2.5 hectares, and undergo fungicide treatment to protect against diseases.

AS Rapid is characterized by high drought and heat tolerance, ensuring stable yields even under dry climate and unstable weather conditions. Plants reach a height of 170–190 cm, exhibit resistance to lodging, and mature in 110–115 days. The hybrid is resistant to 7 races of sunflower downy mildew, further enhancing its reliability and yield stability on various soil types.

The potential yield of AS Rapid reaches 55–60 centners per hectare, although in real conditions, yields often range from 20–25 to 35–40 centners. Oil content in seeds is at 50%, making this hybrid attractive for oil production. Seed production and distribution are carried out directly from the Ukragroelit warehouse in the Odesa region, ensuring quality and timely delivery.
