The variety was obtained by crossing Volzhskaya Krasavitsa × Sizy Golubok. Originator — VNIIGiSPR named after I.V. Michurin. Breeder — G.A. Kursakov. Undergoing state variety testing since 1993.
Medium-sized tree with a spherical crown and good foliage. Shoots of medium length, thick, straight. Leaves dense, green. Leaf blade flat, apex pointed. Petiole of medium length and thickness. Flowers medium-sized, white.
Fruits large, weighing 35.5 g, ornamental, oval-shaped, purple-red in color. Flesh greenish-yellow, juicy, pleasantly tart-sweet flavor (4.4 points). Dry matter content in fruits — 15.11%, sugars — 10.66%, acids — 2.14%, ascorbic acid — 3.52 mg/100g. Pit of medium size, easily separates from the flesh.
Fruits ripen in early-mid season, suitable for general use. Trees enter fruiting on the 3rd-4th year after planting in the garden.
Advantages of the variety: high winter hardiness and yield, excellent fruit flavor.
