Phlox "Milky Way" – a shrub variety of domestic breeding, created by Fetisov I.V. in 1993. The flower is white with bluish shades in the center of the petals and light purple buds. Inflorescences are round-conical, large and dense, reaching a diameter of up to 4 cm, which makes them noticeable in any garden ensemble.
The shrub is upright, strong and powerful, up to 70 cm tall and 30–35 cm in diameter. Due to its high reproduction rate, the plant quickly fills the space, and its disease resistance ensures a long life without frequent replanting. "Milky Way" is well-suited for both small urban gardens and large landscape compositions.
During the flowering period, the variety emits a light sandalwood aroma, and its white petals with a pinkish core create a delicate atmosphere. Flowering begins in mid-June and continues until the end of August, while the inflorescences maintain their brightness and density even in hot weather. This makes "Milky Way" an ideal choice for those who value beauty, reliability, and ease of care in one plant.
