The 'Nosivchanka' phacelia variety, developed by the Nosivka Research Station, is engineered for stability under Ukraine's diverse climatic conditions. Registered in 2019, this variety has proven its suitability across all major agro-climatic zones, ranging from the arid Steppe to the more humid Forest-Steppe and Polissya regions.

The plant exhibits high resistance to lodging due to its upright habit and moderate branching. The presence of pubescence on both stems and leaves is a critical adaptation for heat tolerance; this morphology helps the plant retain moisture and reduce transpiration during intense summer heat. In field conditions, 'Nosivchanka' shows predictable performance under stress, maintaining vegetative mass even during periods of low rainfall, which makes it an excellent green manure crop for soil fertility restoration.

Honey Productivity and Agronomy

The primary value of this variety lies in its intense flowering. With a high number of flowers per main stem, 'Nosivchanka' achieves honey productivity levels of 250–500 kg/ha. Its prolonged flowering period provides a consistent nectar flow for bees, while farmers benefit from significant improvements in soil structure.
