Peach Lyubava

Nikitsky Botanical Garden Selection: The Reliability of «Lyubava»

The «Lyubava» peach is a result of extensive research by the breeders at the Nikitsky Botanical Garden (NBS-NNTS RAS). Developed under the leadership of Larisa Dmitrievna Komar-Temnaya, this variety has established itself as a reliable choice for growers prioritizing consistent yields and high-quality fruit. In regional fruit farming, it has earned a reputation as one of the most predictable and stable cultivars in its category.

Agronomic Profile and Productivity

«Lyubava» stands out from competitors due to its exceptional operational durability. The tree is vigorous, forming a robust structure capable of supporting a heavy harvest. A standout feature is the fruit retention: the peaches do not drop even when fully ripe, which significantly optimizes the harvest logistics. For the industrial sector, this is a decisive factor in minimizing crop loss.

• Early Fruiting: Expect the first harvest as early as 2–3 years after planting.
• Fruit Quality: The flesh is juicy, sweet, and aromatic. The stone separates easily, making the fruit ideal for both commercial processing and fresh market sales.

Choosing this variety is a strategic decision for growers seeking a balance between winter hardiness and sensory quality. The Nikitsky Botanical Garden has engineered a product that competes successfully with imported hybrids, offering superior adaptability to specific local climatic cycles.
