Darnel Gallius

Aesthetic Appeal Meets Low Maintenance

"Gallius" by Euro Grass Breeding KG represents a selection focused on creating aesthetically pleasing lawns with minimal resource input. Unlike forage-type ryegrass, this hybrid has been refined for decorative purposes. Its growth height of 50-70 cm makes it an excellent candidate for landscapes where a combination of turf density and visual elegance is required.

Why choose Gallius?

• Low Input Requirements: The genetics of this variety allow for savings on frequent mowing and specialized fertilization, making it a preferred choice for landscaping projects with limited maintenance staff.
• European Standards: Developed by a consortium of experts including Stelling Dieter and DSV Zaden Nederland, the variety ensures high seed purity and predictable results.
• Resilience: Despite its decorative focus, the cultivar demonstrates adaptability to variable climatic conditions, a hallmark of German breeding by Euro Grass Breeding KG.

This variety is optimal for managers of park zones, private estates, and urban public spaces where a beautiful turf cover is needed without the hassle of intensive daily care. "Gallius" is forgiving for amateur landscapers and performs reliably where other varieties would require constant intervention.
