Wild cabbage Chirz F1

Professional choice for stable yields: Why Cheers F1 stands out

The Japanese selection by Takii Seeds is globally recognized for high performance and reliability. The Cheers F1 cabbage hybrid is a testament to this, focusing on resilience and crop safety. Unlike standard hybrids that prioritize mass at the expense of health, Cheers F1 provides a strong genetic defense against common soil pathogens, including Fusarium and Verticillium wilts.

Core strengths and field performance

• Disease resistance: A robust package of resistance allows for a significant reduction in fungicide usage, ensuring a healthier crop and lower production costs.
• Adaptability: The plant develops a strong leaf structure that effectively protects the head from heat stress and maintains moisture balance during dry periods.
• Commercial appeal: Cheers F1 produces uniform, dense heads that are easy to transport and store, making it a perfect candidate for both fresh markets and long-term storage programs.

Who is this hybrid for?

Cheers F1 is ideal for farmers working on high-pressure fields where soil-borne diseases have been a challenge in the past. If you are looking for a hybrid that bridges the gap between high yield and low-risk management, this is a premium choice. It is particularly well-suited for professional growers who need consistent sizing and high shelf-life durability.

Points to consider: While the hybrid is highly resilient, it demands professional spacing management. Adequate ventilation is key to its performance, so overcrowding should be avoided to ensure that the dense head formation reaches its full potential. By following standard agrotechnical practices, growers can expect a high return on investment regardless of typical seasonal variability.
