STANTOR

Stentor F1 cucumber is a mid-early parthenocarpic hybrid of the cornichon type, developed by the Dutch seed company Nunhems Zaden. This hybrid is self-pollinating and suitable for cultivation both in open and protected ground, in the first and second crop rotations. The plant has a balanced and open growth type, ensuring stable fruiting even under adverse weather conditions, high planting density, and insufficient light. Planting density is recommended at 3-3.5 plants per square meter.

The fruits of Stentor F1 cucumber have a uniform cylindrical shape and a deep green color with numerous spines. They feature a pleasant, refreshing taste, making the hybrid versatile for commercial use, culinary applications, and processing. Fruit set begins as early as 40-45 days after sowing, enabling an early harvest. Each internode bears 3-4 fruits, ensuring high yield.

The hybrid exhibits strong resistance to several cucumber diseases, high field tolerance, and stress resistance. The harvest remains well-preserved on the plant, retaining its flavor and appearance even in hot weather. Additionally, Stentor F1 cucumbers have excellent transportability and long shelf life, making them advantageous for commercial cultivation and long-distance distribution.
