Daffodil TIMS SQUARE

A Bold Statement in Landscape Design

The 'Times Square' narcissus, produced by Agroindustrial Society Taytsy, is a go-to choice for those who value the classic aesthetics of large-cupped varieties. When managing green spaces with this specific cultivar, it is essential to consider its structural attributes: a robust flower stalk and a striking contrast between the intense yellow petals and the vivid orange-yellow corona.

Cultivation Experience and Maintenance

Based on the practical application of products from Agroindustrial Society Taytsy, this variety stands out for its resilience regarding drainage conditions. However, to ensure the flower dimensions reach their full potential as specified by the breeder, adhering to standard agricultural practices is key:

• Planting depth: 12–15 cm, depending on the soil structure.
• Fertilization cycle: Standard protocol involving nitrogen application in spring and potassium-phosphorus during the budding phase.
• Moisture management: The variety is sensitive to waterlogging, which is critical to avoid during the spring thaw to prevent bulb rot.

When used in mass plantings, 'Times Square' exhibits excellent uniformity, significantly simplifying maintenance. The bloom retains its shape even in windy conditions, making it an optimal selection for open flowerbeds and municipal landscaping. A crucial maintenance practice is the timely removal of faded blooms, which allows the plant to redirect energy toward developing healthy offset bulbs.

Practical Recommendations

For professional landscapers, this variety acts as a reliable 'workhorse'—it is predictable, possesses an excellent multiplication rate, and does not require specific winter cover in temperate climates. If your goal is to create stable, long-lasting floral arrangements, the 'Times Square' narcissus from Agroindustrial Society Taytsy will deliver a consistent decorative impact throughout its entire blooming season.
