Melon Agustino

Agustino melon is a mid-early maturing variety, ripening approximately 75 days after germination. The fruits have an oval-round shape and weigh between 3 to 7 kilograms, sometimes reaching 8-9 kilograms. They are segmented, with a golden-yellow netted rind, giving them an attractive appearance. The flesh is dense, white, and exceptionally sweet, making this variety particularly delicious and enjoyable. The Agustino plant is compact, promoting good fruit formation. The melon withstands transportation well and has good storability, allowing it to maintain quality during transport and storage. The fruits are resistant to sunburn, which is an important advantage when grown under intense sunlight. For optimal cultivation, use light loamy soils, and plant density should be 6-8 thousand plants per hectare. This approach ensures good plant development and high-quality yields. Agustino is ideal for those who appreciate early harvests of sweet, juicy melons with excellent transport characteristics.
