Poppy Flagman

Reliable choice for food production

When selecting seeds for culinary production, consistency is the primary metric. The «Flagman» variety from «Ukrainskyi mak» has proven itself as a crop that provides predictable field performance and high-quality processing output. For an agronomist, this translates to fewer complications during harvest and reliable seed conditioning.

Field performance and agronomics

In terms of field management, this variety offers excellent crop uniformity. This is vital during harvest time, as uniform ripening of the seed pods minimizes grain loss due to shattering. «Flagman» responds well to standard nutrition programs without requiring excessive inputs, which positively impacts production costs.

• Culinary quality: The seeds are known for their high oil content and characteristic flavor, making them a preferred choice for commercial bakeries.
• Resistance: The variety features inherent resistance to lodging, which significantly simplifies the operation of harvesting machinery.
• Harvesting: With proper timing, the threshing process is smooth, placing no excessive load on the combine cleaning system.

Managing this variety does not require specialized skills—adherence to standard poppy cultivation techniques is sufficient. If you are focused on high-quality food-grade raw materials with excellent marketability, «Flagman» meets these requirements perfectly.
