Description ASTRAKHANSKIY 100
Anise Hyssop is a perennial herbaceous plant growing from 70 to 150 cm in height, characterized by an upright form and heart-shaped green leaves. It features small white flowers arranged in spike-like inflorescences 4 to 25 cm long; the leaf area on a single plant can reach 110 cm². The plant grows quickly and forms a large inflorescence, making it an attractive decorative-medicinal element in landscape design.

Anise hyssop seeds weigh from 0.8 to 1.1 g, and green mass yield can reach 15 t/ha under optimal growing conditions. To obtain high-quality raw material, winter sowing is recommended along with drip irrigation, ensuring stable plant development and high active substance concentration.

Anise hyssop is rich in essential oils, flavonoids, tannins, and various acids. These components provide healing properties: they boost immunity, aid in treating colds, bronchopulmonary diseases, gastrointestinal disorders, hypertension, and nervous excitement. Dried raw material is often used to prepare the herbal tea 'Lophant', as well as in cosmetology to strengthen hair roots, improve skin condition, and soften wrinkles. Due to its high content of methionine, lipids, and amino acids, anise hyssop is easily absorbed by the body, making it a valuable addition to the diet for both prevention and recovery after illness.
