Voshod

The Voshod flax variety is intended for producing flax fiber and cultivation in Russia. This is an early-to mid-maturing variety with a vegetation period of about 75 days. The plants are tall with an average stem length, petals have a blue-violet hue, and the seeds are brown. The mass of 1000 seeds is average, which facilitates optimal sowing and crop development.

Voshod is distinguished by high resistance to diseases, particularly fusarium wilt, and shows medium resistance to bacterial blight and above-average resistance to anthracnose. The variety is characterized by lodging resistance, which ensures crop preservation and fiber quality. The average straw yield is about 41.9 c/ga, and the seed yield is 6.1 c/ga, making it advantageous for industrial cultivation.

Fiber content in the Voshod variety reaches 25.7%, while the output of long fiber is 18%. These indicators ensure high-quality raw materials for the textile industry.
