The DEVIZ flax variety is a type of common flax (Linum usitatissimum L. f. elongata) with a medium maturation period. This variety is characterized by medium ripeness, which allows for successful cultivation under various climatic conditions. Main growing regions include the Northwestern, Central, and Volga-Kama regions, where it demonstrates stable yield indicators.

The average yield of DEVIZ flax straw varies by region and ranges from 31.4 to 50.5 centners per hectare. Seed yield falls within the range of 5.7-7.6 centners per hectare. Total fiber content in the plant reaches 33.6%, while long fiber yield is 21.3%, making this variety attractive for the production of high-quality flax fiber.

The DEVIZ variety exhibits high resistance to major flax diseases, such as fusarium wilt, rust, and anthracnose.
