Description NINA
Nina is a hybrid white lily with pink splashes and bright red stamens, standing from 120 to 180 cm tall. Flowers with a diameter of about 15–20 cm bloom in summer, usually in July–August, and last until autumn. The petals have a milky hue with pink spots, while the stems are straight and sturdy.

For successful cultivation, the lily Nina requires a sunny plot with slight shade. Prepare the soil: it should be light, moist, and well-drained; you can add river sand to improve drainage. Before planting, treat the bulbs with a weak potassium permanganate solution to disinfect the plant and stimulate growth. Plant in open ground in spring – in April–May, when night frosts have passed.

The lily Nina withstands low temperatures down to –35 °C and is resistant to fungal diseases. After flowering, cut off the stems, leaving about 50 cm for the formation of new buds. The plant actively reproduces, forming many offspring, so it is convenient to plant them in groups of 3–5 of the same variety. Regular watering and feeding with professional fertilizers contribute to enhanced budding and brighter color.

The lily is not dug up for winter; simply cover the plot to protect it from severe frosts. With proper care, Nina will delight the garden with its delicate white flower with pink accents throughout the season.
