Mryia MS

Mryia MS — an early-maturing modified hybrid of sweet corn, Ukrainian selection, with FAO 190, intended for cultivation in the forest-steppe and Polissia regions. The hybrid demonstrates high plasticity and stable yield under various soil-climatic conditions, making it universal for cultivation both for grain and silage. The plant reaches a height of up to 245 cm and is characterized by a strong stem and well-developed root system, ensuring high resistance to lodging.

The hybrid Mryia MS matures depending on weather conditions and cultivation region within 105–121 days. Seed moisture at harvest is 15–16.5%, which contributes to good storage and processing of the crop. Yield reaches 80–95 centners per hectare. Seeds have a medium kernel type with protein content of 9–10.2% and starch content of 71–73.2%, ensuring high product quality.

A distinctive feature of Mryia MS is its high predisposition to form two ears, which increases potential yield. The hybrid is recommended for intensive cultivation technologies and complies with the national standard of the Republic of Belarus.
