Description Ural Pink
Mid-late maturing variety, developed at the Southern Ural Research Institute of Fruit and Vegetable Growing and Potato Growing by crossing the varieties Murovets and Lyv'yonok. Author: V.S. Ilyin. Since 2004, included in the State Register of Selection Achievements approved for use in the West Siberian region.

Strong-growing, medium-spreading, dense bush. Growing shoots of medium thickness, straight, green, with noticeable anthocyanic coloration (light, not bright) on the sun-exposed side of the shoot, usually colored in the upper third. Thorns on shoots are long, medium-thick or thin, brown, single- or occasionally double-ridged, arranged perpendicularly to the shoot, occasionally slightly upward. Shoots often thornless in the lower and upper parts. Thorniness of internodes is absent.

Leaves of medium size, dark green, glossy, wrinkled, five-lobed, with deep indentations, blade concave and soft. Lobes are rounded, the central lobe is positioned higher than the lateral ones, slightly larger in size, elongated and narrow, with width noticeably greater than length. Angle between central veins of lateral lobes is acute or straight, lateral lobes are of medium length and width, with rounded tips. Basal lobes are poorly developed. Leaf base has shallow indentation or is straight. Teeth are short and not curled. Petiole is long, thin, light green, slightly hairy. Buds of medium size, solitary, brown, elongated-oval in shape, pointed, deviated from the shoot at an angle of 40-45°. Petiole scar is round.

Flowers of medium size, pale, solitary, located on thin, long pedicels, light green in color. Sepals are loosely arranged, light green with pink margins.

Berries medium or large (3.7-6.4 g), one-dimensional, round-oval, bright pink, with a matte coating, medium number of seeds. Receptacle is medium-sized, open, pedicel is long and green. Flavor is sweet and slightly sour-sweet, rated 5 points, berries are of universal use.

Winter-hardy, high-yielding variety, average multi-year yield is 18.0 t/ha, maximum — 32.0 t/ha (5.4-9.6 kg/plant), self-fertile, weakly affected by powdery mildew, anthracnose, and fruit borers.

Advantages of the variety: disease resistance, high yield, berry flavor.

Disadvantages of the variety: thorniness of shoots.
