Description Shershnevskiy
Medium-late maturing variety, developed at the Southern Ural Research Institute of Fruit and Vegetable Growing and Potato Cultivation by pollinating the 'Seyanets Lefora' variety with a pollen mixture of 'African' and 'Slabo-shi povatny-2' varieties. Author: V.S. Ilyin. Since 2006, it has been included in the State Register of Selection Achievements approved for use in the Ural and West Siberian regions.

Strong-growing, medium-dense, medium-spreading bush. Growing shoots are medium-thick, straight, green, with the upper third colored purple. Thorns are medium-thick, long, single, occasionally double, arranged perpendicular to the shoots, light-brown, absent in the upper part of the shoot.

Medium-sized, dark green, shiny, wrinkled, soft leaves with smooth, concave midribs, five-lobed, with deep indentations. Lobes are pointed, middle lobe is similar in size to lateral ones, without additional protrusions. Angle between midribs of lateral lobes is straight, lateral lobes are widely spaced. Basal lobes are moderately developed. Leaf base has a deep or moderately deep triangular notch. Teeth are short, not curled, blunt. Petiole is green, slightly hairy, medium length and thickness. Buds are small, light-brown, round, with pointed tips, single, deviated from the shoot. Petiole trace is narrow, round.

Flowers of medium size, mostly arranged in two-flowered clusters. Sepals are medium in length and width, pale-pink, curved, not closed. Pedicels are medium-thick, short, green, hairless.

Berries are medium (3.4-6.0 g), one-dimensional, round, dark pink to even red, with a matte bloom. Seed count is medium. Taste is sweet and slightly sour-sweet, rated 5 points. Receptacle is medium, open. Peduncle is long, green. Berries are of universal use.

Winter-hardy, high-yielding, average multi-year yield is 8.7 t/ha, maximum is 25.3 t/ha (2.6-7.6 kg/plant), self-fertile, resistant to powdery mildew, slightly affected by anthracnose and fruit borers.

Advantages of the variety: high yield, disease and pest resistance, flavor qualities.

Disadvantages of the variety: thorniness of shoots.
