Description Roman
The hemp variety ROMAN® is a monoecious plant of the species Cannabis sativa L. ssp. sativa, developed for industrial use, specifically for obtaining fiber and cellulose used in the cellulose and paper industry. This variety belongs to the medium-Russian group and is characterized by the absence of seed mosaic, which indicates the stability and uniformity of the planting material. The plant has a long yellow-green stem and medium intensity of green leaf blade coloration, indicating good development and health of the vegetative mass.

ROMAN® is distinguished by high yield: the average stem yield is 124.3 centners per hectare, with fiber content reaching 33.6% and long fiber output at 20.8%. The tensile strength of the fiber is 29.7 kgf, indicating the strength and quality of the obtained material. Seed yield is 11.2 centners per hectare, with the mass of 1000 seeds at 16.3 grams and fat content in seeds reaching 27.6%, which may be interesting for additional seed use.

The vegetative period of the ROMAN® variety is 85 days until the end of flowering and 118 days until full seed maturity, allowing for harvest timing planning. According to the developer, the variety is resistant to diseases, reducing the risk of losses and the need for chemical protective measures. All these characteristics make the ROMAN® variety attractive for agricultural production aimed at obtaining high-quality fiber and cellulose.
