Description Mirami
Mirami potato is a new early-maturing table variety developed by staff of the Institute of Potato Breeding of NAAN in Ukraine. The vegetation period is approximately 90 days. Plants are of medium height, well-branched, with red-purple flowers. Tubers have an oval shape, light-pink color, and average weight of about 75 grams. Flesh is light-yellow, starch content ranges from 15-16%, dry matter content is 27.7%. Taste quality is highly rated — 7.9 to 8.1 points out of 10.

Mirami variety is suitable for processing into potato products such as chips and French fries. Yield under proper agronomy reaches 21 tons per hectare by day 40-45 after emergence and approximately 35.7 tons per hectare by the end of the vegetation period. Tubers' marketability is 92%, indicating high-quality harvest.

A distinctive feature of this variety is its resistance to mechanical damage and adverse environmental conditions. Mirami is resistant to potato cyst nematode and common potato late blight pathotype. In addition, the variety exhibits high field resistance to viral diseases and fusarium, as well as relative resistance to phytophthora, alternaria, wet bacterial rot, and stem nematode.
