The potato variety Mada is a medium-ripening table variety with oval-round tubers, covered with red skin and creamy flesh. The tubers have small eyes and a weight ranging from 106 to 255 grams. The starch content varies from 14.0 to 17.9%, ensuring excellent taste qualities. The variety's marketability reaches 91.9%, and storability is 97.0%, indicating high tuber preservation during storage.

The plant is of medium height, intermediate type with semi-erect form. Leaves are of medium size, open and dark green, with a medium-sized flower with intense anthocyanic coloring on the inner side. The variety is characterized by high market yield, ranging from 186 to 448 centners per hectare, which is 25-44 centners higher than the Lugovskaya standard. Maximum yield can reach 508 centners per hectare, significantly exceeding the Scarb standard.

Mada exhibits resistance to several diseases, including potato cancer pathogen and golden potato cyst nematode. According to the VNIIF's data, the variety is moderately susceptible to late blight on foliage and tubers, but according to the breeder, it is resistant to striped mosaic. The variety is recommended for cultivation in various regions, including Central, Volgo-Vyat, Middle Volga, West Siberian, East Siberian, and Far Eastern.
