Description LAUDINE
Potato variety Laudine — a medium-early Dutch table variety, characterized by oval-shaped, medium-sized tubers with smooth yellow skin and yellow flesh. Dry matter content in tubers is 19–20%, providing a semi-firm flesh texture suitable for various culinary purposes, including boiling, baking, and frying. This variety has an attractive waxy appearance and excellent flavor qualities, making it popular among consumers.

Laudine is characterized by high yield — from 40 to 55 tons per hectare, with tuber numbers per plant ranging from 8 to 16, each weighing approximately 98–121 grams. The variety has a long dormancy period and excellent storability, allowing for prolonged storage without quality loss. Thanks to these properties, Laudine is suitable for cultivation in various climatic conditions, including in Ukraine.

The variety is resistant to several common potato diseases, including viral infections, potato cancer, and golden potato cyst nematode. It also shows moderate resistance to late blight of foliage and tubers, as well as potato scab. These characteristics make Laudine a reliable choice for farmers seeking a stable and high-quality yield.
