Elza

Elza F1 is an ultra-early hybrid of white cabbage developed by the Japanese breeding company Sakata. The vegetation period of this hybrid is 42 to 48 days after transplanting seedlings, allowing for an early harvest. The hybrid is highly adaptable to various growing conditions, resistant to temperature fluctuations, and able to withstand frosts, ensuring crop preservation even under adverse weather conditions. For accelerated maturity, temporary coverings are recommended during seedling transplanting.

Plants form round, dense heads of light green color with a pleasant waxy coating. Head weights range from 0.6 to 1.2 kg, with harvest possible as early as when the weight reaches 350-400 grams. The hybrid is characterized by excellent fruit uniformity and high flavor qualities, making it ideal for fresh consumption and fresh vegetable market sales. Due to the dense head structure, Elza F1 cabbage stores well in the field and is resistant to cracking.

Additionally, the hybrid is resistant to powdery mildew and bacterial rots, and tolerates high humidity and temperature fluctuations.
