Description Shedevr
Canna MASTERPIECE – a decorative variety developed by the Nikitsky Botanical Garden and registered in 2015. The plant reaches a height of up to two meters, has upright stems and large leaves measuring from twenty-five to eighty centimeters in length. Leaves can be green with a purple tint or fully purple, while the flowers are bright red, orange, and yellow, 4–10 cm in diameter, asymmetrical and three-part. Thanks to such a palette, canna MASTERPIECE becomes a popular element of flower beds and garden plots.

The variety is distinguished by high resistance to diseases and ease of care: the plant requires sunlight, moist soil with good drainage, and regular moderate watering. In spring, it is convenient to fertilize with nitrogen fertilizers, and before budding – with potassium-phosphorus ones. After flowering ends, plants can be dug up, and tubers stored at 7–9 °C in a dry cellar or refrigerator so that they survive the winter and are ready for the next season.

Canna MASTERPIECE is also suitable for cutting in bouquets thanks to large flowers and storage resistance. Combined with coleus, primrose, or marigolds, it creates bright compositions both in open ground and in containers. Thanks to its decorative qualities and simple care, this variety is an excellent choice for gardeners looking for a reliable and beautiful plant.
