Hops Haidamatsky — an aromatic late-ripening hop variety widely used in brewing to impart a balanced bitterness and expressive aroma to beer. It has a clean, persistent hop aroma with herbal and floral notes, making it versatile for both bitterness addition and aroma infusion. Thanks to its high content of myrcene essential oil, especially when using cold hopping, beer acquires a fresh and intense hop aroma.
This variety is characterized by a predominance of beta-acids among bitter compounds, which provides a milder and more moderate bitterness, pleasant for consumption. In addition, Hops Haidamatsky contains a significant amount of polyphenols and proanthocyanidins, which effectively slow down oxidation and aging processes in beer, thereby extending its shelf life and preserving its quality over a long period.
This variety is produced by the farm of the company «Elita Hops» in the Zhytomyr region, where hop cultivation traditions date back over a century. The hops are available in type 90 pellet form, especially recommended for premium beer production. It can be used either alone or in combination with other varieties, allowing brewers to create diverse flavor and aroma profiles.
