Active ingredient: tribenuron-methyl 750 g/kg
Formulation: water-soluble granules
Packaging: bottles 50 g, 100 g, 500 g
General information about the product:
Systemic post-emergence herbicide for the eradication of annual and perennial broadleaf weeds, including species resistant to 2,4-D, in cereals crops.
Mechanism of action of the product:
Grenader w.g. — systemic herbicide designed for post-emergence control of broadleaf weeds in cereals crops. The active ingredient is primarily absorbed by the leaves and translocated to the growth points of weeds, inhibiting the enzyme acetolactate synthase, thereby halting cell division and stopping weed growth within a few hours after application.
Visible symptoms of damage appear 5-10 days after spraying. Complete weed death occurs 14-21 days after application. Less sensitive weeds or those at later growth stages may not die, but their growth will be inhibited — they will not compete with crop plants for nutrients and water.
Warm weather enhances herbicide activity; cool and dry weather slows it down.
General recommendations for use of the product:
The product is applied via ground spraying in the stage from 2-3 leaves to the emergence of the flag leaf in winter wheat and barley. The product is most effective at early stages of weed growth and development: 3-6 true leaves for annual broadleaf weeds, rosette stage for perennials, and 3-4 whorls for sticky chickweed. Spraying should be conducted at wind speeds not exceeding 4-6 m/s. Rain within 3 hours after application may significantly reduce the herbicide's effectiveness.
To broaden the spectrum of controlled broadleaf weeds, tank mixes with half the recommended dosage of herbicides based on active ingredients such as 2,4-D, dicamba, and trifensulfuron-methyl can be used. In cases where tank mixes with Grenader w.g. are necessary, compatibility of the other herbicides should be checked beforehand. In cases of high cereal crop density or heavy weed infestation, water volume should be increased.
Warning! Do not apply the working solution to adjacent crops sensitive to herbicides.
Preparation of the working solution of the product:
Water for preparing the working solution must be clean. High levels of foreign particles, sediment, or clay in water can significantly affect herbicide efficacy. When using hard water, it is recommended to use reduced concentrations of the working solution and increased doses of the product.
The working solution is prepared immediately before spraying: measure the required amount of product for one sprayer tank, fill half the tank with water, then turn on the mixer. Then add the required amount of product and wait 20-30 minutes before topping up with water to full capacity.
When using Grenader w.g. with other herbicides or surfactants, add Grenader w.g. first to the sprayer tank, then add all other components.
Warning! The mixer must be running during preparation of the working solution and during spraying.
Advantages of using Grenader w.g. herbicide:
Convenient formulation and low application rate make it exceptionally easy to use, transport, and store;
Broad spectrum of controlled weeds, especially species such as: sticky chickweed, dandelion, creeping oxeye daisy, wild poppy, etc.;
Minimal negative effect on crop plants allows application starting from the 2-3 leaf stage;
Begins acting on weeds within 2-3 hours after application;
No restrictions in crop rotation;
Compatible with most pesticides;
Effective at temperatures as low as +5° C, significantly extending its usability in autumn and spring.
