Post-emergence herbicide for the destruction of broadleaf weeds on cereal crop and lawn swards.
When preparing a tank mix with other products or surfactants (Tandem), first load Gold Star into the sprayer tank, then add all other ingredients.
The working solution must be used within 24 hours. Wind speed should not exceed 5 m/s. Spraying should be done on dry weather.
Working liquid application rate 200 — 300 l/ha.
Maximum number of applications - 1.
GOLD STAR High-efficiency post-emergence herbicide with systemic action for controlling broadleaf weeds, including species resistant to 2,4-D, on cereal crops.
Active ingredient. Tribenuron-methyl, 750 g/kg.
Formulation. Water-soluble granules. Chemical group. Sulfonylureas.
Compatibility. Compatible with most plant protection agents used on cereal crops and with liquid fertilizers, but compatibility must be checked for each specific case.
Mode of action. Systemic action. The product is primarily absorbed by leaves and translocated to the growing point, where it inhibits the acetolactate synthase enzyme, stopping cell division in weeds.
Spectrum of activity. Most sensitive: prickly lettuce, chamomile (species), wild mustard, black mustard, common chickweed, chickweed, wild radish, broad-leaved dock, yellow rocket, common chickweed, species of sorrel, common nettle, common chickweed, white clover, flax (species), wild poppy, species of sandwort, conical cornflower, sunflower (broad bean), spotted hawkweed, common wormwood, field thistle. Moderately sensitive: field bindweed, blue speedwell, birch-leaved mustard, chicory, coltsfoot, sharp-leaved bedstraw, medicinal yarrow, three-colored violet, field chrysanthemum.
Resistant: field maple, creeping Veronica, all species of grassy weeds.
Target crops: winter wheat, winter barley, rye, spring wheat, spring barley
Application rate, g/ha: 15 — 25
Additional information (INFORMATION SHEETS) about the product — see the section “Presentations and Documents”.
Maximum number of applications — 1. Pre-harvest interval is not established.
Working solution application rate — 200 — 300 l/ha. The product is used with the addition of TANDEM surfactant (200 ml per 100 l water). To achieve maximum effectiveness, ensure adequate and uniform spraying of the above-ground parts of weeds. The most effective period for application — the phase of intensive weed growth. In crops, the development phase may range from 2 — 3 leaves to the appearance of the flag leaf. The most favorable conditions for use are warm weather with adequate air and soil moisture.
Optimal air temperature from +15 to +24 °C. Application at low temperatures does not affect the effectiveness of the product, but slightly prolongs the time until weed death.
Toxicity. WHO classification: III class (low toxicity). Time for personnel to return to mechanized work — 3 days, for manual work — not established.
