When working with fodder beet, the field cleanliness issue is paramount. Missing the weed wave early on means losing yield potential before the crop even starts. Expert Trio, produced by Nanjing Essence Fine-Chemical, is a classic, proven solution that tackles annual broadleaf and grass weeds without stunting the crop itself.

Field Application Insights

In practice, this herbicide is valued for its predictability. The blend of desmedipham, phenmedipham, and ethofumesate works like a well-oiled machine. It targets common weeds such as white goosefoot, barnyard grass, and various bristle grasses that typically choke out the rows. For an agronomist, the main advantage is its selective nature: it controls the infestation while letting the beets maintain their growth momentum.

• Foliar Application: This is a post-emergence product. Success depends on timing—treating when weeds are still in the cotyledon stage ensures maximum efficacy.
